Toronto International Film Festival 2014: tutti i vincitori

Il Toronto International Film Festival 2014, il festival canadese del cinema, ha decretato il suo vincitore: “The Imitation Game” di Morten Tyldum, con protagonista Benedict Cumberbatch.

Il film racconta dello scienziato e matematico Alan Turing che guidò l’operazione di decodifica del codice Enigma, operazione finalizzata alla vittoria nel secondo conflitto mondiale. 

Nel film ci sono anche Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Rory Kinnear, Charles Dance, Allen Leech e Matthew Beard

Generalmente i trionfatori di questo Festival hanno buone probabilità di spianarsi la strada verso gli Oscar, è stato il caso di altri vincitori a Toronto, come “12 anni schiavo”, “Il lato positivo”, “Il discorso del re” e “The Millionaire “.

International Critics (FIPRESCI) Prize for Discovery Program: “May Allah Bless France,” Abd Al Malik
NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film: “Margarita With a Straw,” Shonali Bose

International Short Film: “A Single Body,” Sotiris Dounokous
